By uploading a video to Good Terms ("Good Terms," "we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Submission Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if you are a minor. By submitting, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Ownership & Originality
You represent and warrant that you created and own, or otherwise control, all rights in the video you submit; that it is your original content; and that it does not infringe or violate any third party's rights, including copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, or publicity rights. If any person appears in or is identifiable in your video, you confirm you have obtained their permission for that footage to be submitted and used as described here. Do not include third-party music, film, television, or other copyrighted material that you do not have the right to use.
3. License You Grant
You grant Good Terms and those acting on our behalf (including our members, management, label, and partners) a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable and transferable license to host, store, use, reproduce, edit, adapt, combine, publish, distribute, publicly display and publicly perform your submission (in whole or in part) in any and all media now known or later developed — including music videos, live show visuals, websites, social media, and promotional materials — without further notice to you, and without review, approval, or compensation.
4. No Compensation
You understand and agree that you will not be paid or otherwise compensated for your submission or for any use we make of it. Submission does not create any employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
5. No Obligation to Use
We are under no obligation to use, post, or return your submission, and may decline, edit, shorten, or remove it at any time, in our sole discretion.
6. Content Standards
You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, hateful, invasive of another's privacy, or that promotes illegal activity, and not to submit content containing others' copyrighted or trademarked material without permission. We may reject or remove any submission that violates these standards.
7. Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Good Terms and its members, management, label, agents, partners, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, and damages arising out of or related to your submission or our use of it, including claims relating to rights of privacy or publicity, defamation, or copyright.
8. Privacy
The information you provide (such as your name and email) will be used to identify your submission and to contact you about it. We will not sell your personal information. By submitting, you consent to our storing and using your submission and contact details for these purposes.
9. Changes
We may update these Submission Terms from time to time. The version posted at the time of your submission governs that submission.
10. Governing Law
These Submission Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States and the state in which Good Terms is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
